Write an essay about Peking opera and Indonesian theatre

Write an essay about Peking opera and Indonesian theatre

Students are expected to discuss the materials of a selected drama style that they have learned about for this class. It should be written representing diasporic views/ideas and the students should focus on two different world regions and compare two separate drama forms of their choice. Students are expected to use other trustworthy sources of their choice such as online research, movies, books, research articles etc., along with the class readings.

The final paper demands students to prove that they understand what diaspora means and to engage their thoughts and ideas with the concepts of diaspora and diasporic views and apply them to clarify a particular drama style from Asia. In doing so, they are expected to read, write and analyze, critically and recognize the influences and interactions between Asian region/s and some other part of the world while paying attention to specific features and depictions related to their chosen drama style.

Students are graded based on their understanding of the material and how they discuss the diasporic views in two chosen world regions. The paper should be formal and needs to be typed in 12-point font, Times New Roman, double-spaced, have one-inch margins, and must be at least five full pages.

I have already write a brief summary for this paper below, you can write it based on this and develop it:

For my final paper, I prepared to write about Peking opera which is a traditional drama type in China and Indonesian theatre which is from the South Asia. For introducing these two different forms of drama styles, I will compare the diverse cultures and distinguishing features between them as the same time interact them together. I will convey my thoughts with the concepts of diasporic views as well.Thank you so much!

Five paragraph scheme

Five paragraph scheme

After reading Poe’s biography (by the editors) and the text by the author, (pp. 731-735, pp. 762-772), you now have some freedom in this week’s Paper Topic. We’ve delved into literary terminology (https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/subject_specific_writing/writing_in_literature/literary_terms/index.html) and theory a bit, so work to create your own analysis of Poe’s text based on information of your choosing – you can apply his biography to the text, choose a literary theory to use as a lens through which to assess his piece, focus primarily on applying literary terminology (which highlights how Poe writes, rather than what he writes about – the what tends to be more under the umbrella of theory).

Let’s do this in a mini-essay format that follows the five paragraph scheme – a single introductory paragraph that sets up your argument/analysis and includes a thesis, three supporting paragraphs that directly pull from the author’s story and uses quotes as support, and a concluding paragraph that can move in different directions (depending on how you want to close your ideas – some of you may tie all your ideas from the paragraphs together, some of you may want to point out additional questions you would ask if given more space/time, some of you might want to provide an overall assessment of the piece – you have freedom here and everyone will do something a little different with their closing).

Your goal here is to really show understanding on more than a summary level – work through the text in a particular way that you establish in your thesis (to review thesis statements, click here).

Give me a minute, I will upload the text, (pp. 731-735, pp. 762-772).

Five Annotated Bibliography (100 word minimum for each)

Five Annotated Bibliography (100 word minimum for each)

PLEASE FOLLOW THIS CAREFULLY

The First annotated citation will be on the Topic of the Legal and Ethical Dimensions of the Use of Information.

The second two of these citations will be full Text articles or books obtained through Databases of professional books and journals available at, or online (The effects of watching television for young children are detrimental to language development. )

The Last Two citations will be obtained through the Internet using any search engines. (Increased opportunities to experience (play with) many objects as a young child is beneficial to concept (and hence) language development.)

These citations will be reported in a APA format as much as possible. Included in the annotation portion of each citation will be a paragraph, which briefly (like in a few sentences) summarizes the article (you can usually get this information from the abstract), and answers to the following questions. If the answer is not available, you simply state that fact:

1. What is the background (authority) of the author (viz., degree and type of education, affiliated institution, history of research in the area as perhaps reflected by past articles in the bibliography)?
2. Who is the intended audience (i.e., professionals, laypersons, women etc.)?
3. How does this work compare or contrast with others you may have cited or be aware of? If you are not aware of any others, simply state that as the situation.
4. What is the scope and relevance of this work to the selected topic (hypothesis)? What the heck do I mean by that? Well, is it highly or only vaguely relevant to the hypothesis; and is it of minor or major importance.
