Among the similarities between the heritage of the Korean and the Mexican people is the value of the family. Both the Koreans and the Mexicans value family as the most crucial element of their society. Family members in both the Korean and Mexican heritage have a strong connection and are very conscious when it comes to their responsibilities. In both heritages, the hierarchical family structure is followed, and children are required to help their parents while parents are highly respected. Another similarity is that while the Koreans people share the Korean language as their heritage, the Mexicans also share the Spanish language as their heritage. Both the Korean and Mexican cultures are also based on respect and politeness.
