Answer preview

Wal-Mart dedicated a considerable amount of money adding up to 100 million dollars that were to help the workers to advance their careers in training and marketing. According to Patrick (2018), the company also went ahead to fund training programs for up to one million farmers. These farmers were to be trained in how to improve their supplier skills at the supplier level. Wal-Mart took this step because they would gain by training the workers who on the other hand increase the company’s output. My perception towards the company has recently changed since I was able to find out that the company has the will of the people at hand. Many companies have failed to exercise their role to the corporate social responsibility, but Wal-Mart has broken boundaries with it. According to these findings, I will be willing to partner or work with the company in any possible way in the future. In many cases, other companies fail to understand that CSR is always a win-win affair where a company, for example, can market itself to the public.
