Every organization conducts research to plan and implement a business idea. The final project for this course is designed to provide the foundation for an international business plan. These activities offer flexibility for many settings related to global business enterprises. The framework may be used for planning global expansion of an existing product or service, or may be used to research a new foreign business opportunity. Each module of this course is designed to gather information for one component of an international business plan.
This is a two-part assignment. First, select one (1) country and (1) product that will be used to develop the GBP. You will complete each section of the GBP and provide a macro level abstract which doesn’t exceed 5 pages and included an bibliography.
An abstract is a written summary of the work that a student completes and formally presents. The purpose of the abstract is to offer a brief summary which gives an overview of the work or project that you will be presenting. It:
Demonstrates an individual’s knowledge of the subject.
Provides additional details that the student might not have been able to cover on its oral/narrated presentation.
The abstract is similar to a brief paper. You should include an introduction that outlines or details the background of your project and the purpose. Please note, “required final class project” should not be the purpose mentioned in the abstract. Also, provide a summary of your findings based on the research you performed. Finally, draft a conclusion that outlines what is your final decision buy/make, the reason for your decision and what you learned in general. You will end with a bibliography. Remember APA style is required. Your paper should use the following format:
Analyze distribution channels and intermediaries for global business operations
Planning a Global Promotion Strategy
Suggest advertising messages, media and other promotional activities for an international enterprise
Phase 4 – Implementing the Global Market Plan
Determining Financial Results
Estimate revenue and costs based for international business activities
Measuring International Business Success
Suggest potential criteria for global business accomplishments based on financial results and social contributions
The abstract/bibliography should not exceed 5 pages. Please use APA style.
Next, you will prepare a PowerPoint presentation not to exceed 20 minutes using Kaltura. This presentation will include an introduction of your product/country as well as a short company profile. The instructions below contain information on how to record and post your PowerPoint presentation for your final project.
Choose one (1) public corporation in an industry with which you are familiar. Research the company on its own Website, the public filings on the Securities and Exchange Commission EDGAR database (http://www.sec.gov/edgar.shtml), in the University’s online databases, and any other sources you can find. The annual report will often provide insights that can help address some of these questions.
Write a four to six (4-6) page paper in which you:
Use at least three (3) quality references. Note: Wikipedia and other Websites do not quality as academic resources.
Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:
This course requires use of Strayer Writing Standards (SWS). The format is different than other Strayer University courses. Please take a moment to review the SWS documentation for details.
Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length.
The specific course learning outcomes associated with this assignment are:
Determine ways in which the vision, mission, and stakeholders of a firm impact that firm’s overall success.
Write clearly and concisely about business administration using proper writing mechanics.
Grading for this assignment will be based on answer quality, logic / organization of the paper, and language and writing skills, using the following rubric.
Tom Friedman (2005), states that “Globalization” is a wonderful and natural process to which people need to adjust. To some critics, it is a dangerous pattern that needs to be resisted through public authority. And to others, it is a process that is not natural at all, but encouraged by public policy that serves some interests at the expense of others. According to Henry Kissinger (1999) “globalization is really another name for the dominant role of the United States.” Agree or disagree with Kissinger’s statement and provide evidence from the textbook that supports your view. Justify your response.
The Global Closet Calculator is a two-part interactive game that introduces the concepts of interdependence and globalization. Go to the National Geographic’s Website, located here, and click on “Begin Your Journey.” Discuss how your map of interdependence compared to everyone else’s. Next, identify the badges you received from the second part of the game, and provide your opinion as to whether or not you agree or disagree with those badges.
Here is the outline and rubric. I need a 8-pages paper with APA form. And it required for at least 6 resources, here is already three, so just need three more.
