Business Studies

Business Studies may be defined as a combination of inter-related business subjects which lead to learning of basic knowledge and skills. It is a course in education that is designed to cover the basic elementary knowledge and skills in organizing business enterprises as well as general office administration.

Classroom and School-Wide Coherence Plan

Classroom and School-Wide Coherence Plan

in their book Coherence – The Right Drivers in Action for Schools, Districts, and System,Michael Fullan and co-author Joanne Quinn present their “Coherence Framework” consisting of four components:

● focusing direction,

● cultivating collaborative cultures,

● deepening student learning

● securing accountability

The authors identified each component as a “driver” calling teachers and administrators to action, ultimately leading to the improvement of student learning.

In this paper, using the Fullan and Salina texts, texts and Reference section documents, describe the process of collaboratively employing each driver within the context of a preferred future teaching assignment or current teaching assignment (see Introductory Paragraph below).

Introductory Paragraph

Briefly describe your future teaching assignment’s grade level (elementary school) student demographics, district and school characteristics (e.g., size), and community/neighborhood context. (https://www.sanjuan.edu/cms/lib/CA01902727/Centricity/domain/141/sarc/2015sarc/2015_School_Accountability_Report_Card_CDE_Oakview_Community_Elementary_School_20160106.pdf )

Fostering Direction – Developing Shared Purpose

This section addresses the concept of the “moral imperative” of teaching. Fullan states that educators “must first understand their own moral purpose and be able to combine personal values, persistence, emotional intelligence, and resilience. This is essential because their moral purpose will be reflected in all their decisions and actions” (p. 18). To clarify one’s moral imperative, Fullan recommends that educators answer the following questions (p. 19):

o● What is my moral imperative?

o● What actions do I take to realize my moral imperative?

o● How do I help others clarify their moral imperative?

4.Begin this section with a description of the moral imperative of teaching supported by the course’s textbooks and articles listed in the syllabus Reference section.

5.Conclude this section with a discussion of developing a shared moral purpose among you and your colleagues that guides your collaborative instructional planning process.

Fostering Direction – Developing Shared Learning Goals

In the section entitled “Goals That Impact What Matters Most”, Fullan and Quinn state that “(t)he problem is not the absence of goals in districts and schools today but the presence of too many that are ad hoc, unconnected, and ever-changing” (p. 19). Employing Fullan’s recommendations for developing a limited number of goals (see pages 21 – 24):

1.Identify and briefly describe three school-wide general learning goals (e.g., citizenship, collaboration, initiative taking) and how they may positively impact student learning.

2.Then describe the collaborative process with your colleagues resulting in the identification of the goals and their school-wide implementation within your school context described in your opening paragraph.

Creating Collaborative Cultures – Developing School and Parents Collaboration

In this section, describe the process you and your colleagues could employ to develop effective collaboration between your grade level (elementary school) or department (middle/high school) and parents.

1.Begin this section by defining the nature of effective collaboration with parents.

2.Conclude this section by describing ways to develop effective collaboration within your teaching

context described in the opening paragraph.

Creating Collaborative Cultures – Developing Teacher Collaboration

In this section, describe how you and your colleagues could create a collaborative school culture that supports improved instruction and student learning in the school context you described in the opening paragraph.

Deepening Learning and Securing Accountability

1.In this section, begin with a description of the “Lesson Study” process in which teachers collaboratively plan, teach, observe, and revise a particular lesson.

2.Next, describe employing the “Lesson Study” process with your grade level colleagues (elementary school) or department colleagues (middle/high school) within the school context you described in the introductory paragraph. Clearly identify an instructional objective or objectives, appropriate instructional pedagogy and assessments, and proposed instructional modifications directly based upon anticipated assessment results designed to improve subsequent instruction.

ResearchPaper about Backdoor

ResearchPaper about Backdoor

I have to conduct a research paper about backdoors. The research is around 16 pages double-spaced. I would like to see the progress of it every couple of days. I would also like you to provide me with the sources that you’re going to use in two days, or at least some of it. The research should cover the following:

“In this research, I am planning to delve into backdoors in depth. I will give the audience an easy to understand image of what backdoors are, and I will explain how they are created. Furthermore, I am going to talk about how these backdoors are detected, and how a cybersecurity officer can deal with this issue in the best way possible to prevent any kind of attack using these backdoors. I will also present some of the most recent incidents that happened using backdoor attacks, and how it was dealt with.”

*10 – 15 scholarly articles, technical Web sites, or books

*•All citations must be in APA format

*Short summary of each source (see pictures attached)

  • Select one of the brands and conduct a SWOT Analysis on it. Include at least 2 strengths, 2 weaknesses, 2 opportunities, and 2 threats and discuss why you labeled each as you did.
  • Based upon your SWOT Analysis created in the previous bullet, create and suggest two (2) strategic marketing recommendations for this business based upon your reflection/analysis and the information that you have gained throughout the course? How did you arrive at these recommendations?

Explain, define, or analyze the topic in detail

Topic:

Virtualization is an important concept in the world right now. Virtualization is the process of creating a software-based or virtual representation of something. Some of the components of virtualization include servers, storage, networks, and virtual applications (Singh, 2018). Additionally, virtualization is an effective way of reducing information technology expenses while making sure that the business can manage expenses especially when it comes to Information technology.

Virtualization has a wide variety of benefits, especially when used in organizations or businesses. Virtualization is important in business and it increases information technology agility, flexibility, and scalability. Furthermore, virtualization increases business performance and make good use of resources and automated operations (Jain & Choudhary, 2016). Therefore, in general, virtualization reduces capital and operating costs. One of the main expenses in any business is the operating costs. When the business can manage this expense due to virtualization, then it becomes easy to manage the business (Singh, 2018). Virtualization ensures that there is minimized or reduced downtime. This is important in any organization that relies on information technology in all its operations. Additionally, virtualization is used in enhancing greater business continuity and disaster recovery.

Various security concerns are identified with server sprawl. One of the issues is that virtual machines are easily generated. When this happens, it becomes difficult to track virtual machines. Therefore, this leads to security challenges that come with sprawl server applications. Another security concern is the source of the virtual appliances downloaded from the Web. It is difficult to know whether the appliances come from trusted sources (Shirvani & Ghojoghi, 2016). Additionally, it is also difficult to know whether their updates come from trusted sources hence this becomes so difficult to address the security issues. One of the best ways to manage security concerns from sprawl is by educating your team. The team must be educated on the importance of keeping the server sprawl to a minimum. Additionally, the organization needs to avoid system sprawl vulnerability. Therefore, organizations need to consider the cooling effect of the servers and the maintenance costs when buying.
