The leader that I chose is Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud

Answer preview

This was very important to his ascension to power because the trust his father had in MBS prompted him to elevate Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud’s position and influence in government as his power grew. 2015 was the turning point in the life of Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud. The then ruling monarch, King Abdullah, passed on, and his father, King Salman, stepped up to fill the void (Dawkins, 2020). Two years after that, King Salman named his son Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud as Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, which means that he is in line to take over the leadership of the country once his father dies. He is amongst the youngest people to hold the titles of Crown Prince not only in Saudi Arabia but also across other jurisdictions that still practice monarchical ideals.
