Write a 2 page paper addressing the following elements in your paper:

Explain how a manager would avoid having espoused reality enter into his or her department.

Include a discussion on the tools they could use, would department meetings help – please be sure to support your position with peer reviewed references.

Once espoused reality creeps into a department, the performance of employees is adversely affected (Bourne et al., 2019). It creates an atmosphere characterized by laxity that prevents employees from fulfilling their duties because they know they can lie and get away with it. It is up to department managers to ensure that espoused reality does not creep into their work environment. There are multiple ways of preventing such an occurrence. The first would involve setting certain norms and values that will guide interactions and transactions within the department (Bourne et al., 2019). By having a uniform guidance framework, employees will desist from adhering to their value system.
